The best Open Source Software for 2006 has been chosen with the first annual Sourceforge Community Choice Awards. The list of winners brings up very powerful and useful tools.
My favorite winners are…
- Azureus BitTorrent Client (Winner – Best Overall)
- WinSCP (Security – 1st place)
- IPCop Firewall (Security – 3rd place)
- phpMyAdmin (SysAdmin – 1st place)
- and TightVNC (SysAdmin – 2nd place).
Really sweet.
