Some of my very few readers might have recognized that I’ve changed my blog design again. (Uh no! Not again.)
Yes, I often liked to change the look of this little spot called freshlabs the last months; everytime a new concept of presenting my blog haunted me, I designed it. Including rewriting most of the template files (I’ve named the current theme “Hawaii” but more on that and older themes later).
During working on all themes (which was hard work) I dived more and more into how WordPress works in detail, which I appreciate because I’ve learned a lot.
And my last theme – Springtime – was appreciated for its fresh, sunny look by other people too. So I am planning to release it as an official WordPress theme.
Currently I’m busy extracting all the code-stuff that I personalized for myself, commenting some code paragraphs for understanding and doing a general CSS-cleanup.
This makes me hope that I can publish my theme in the next few days or weeks. [I will call it "Springtime" or "Summertime" - depending on how long it will take me to document everything right. ;) ]
So watch out for more!
UPDATE: Get the theme SummerSun

Hi. Im currently using your theme “Summer Sun” and i must say that its incredible! i love it. When are you planning to release “Spring”?
Please let me know, ’cause as far as i can see, i’ll definitely going to use it!!
Keep up the good work! :d
Actually, Spring is SummerSun. The images and color better fit into the subject “Summer”. The screenshots here and in the ‘official’ SummerSun article are nearly the same, this one shows a different stadium of my former blog design.
Oh… i thought it was like an “Enhanced Version” or something :D
Anyway, let me know if you release a new theme, i like your style.
Regards,
George
